Retractable Ceiling Column for medical gas and Electrical Controls is manually operated. Each column consists of an upper section, for rigid mounting at the drop ceiling level, and a counter-balanced telescoping lower section, capable of being extended or retracted a maximum of 18"(46cm).
Mechanical stops prevent the underside of the unit from being extended lower then 5'5"(165cm) above finished floor.
- Heavy cast aluminum ceiling plate equipped with braze-type fittings for all gas services to accommodate 3/8" or 1/2" type K copper tubing provided by the
contractor at the drop ceiling level.
- Top-mounting plate mates to rough-in ceiling plate to minimize hanging
procedures.
- Upper and lower section shrouds of No. 4 satin finish stainless steel.
- Ceiling level trim of extruded aluminum.
- Flexible gas hose assemblies, preassembled and factory tested.
- Threaded connections in accordance with NFPA 99 and DISS recommendations
to prevent interchange ability.
- Removable access panel.
- A "House Ground" Lug clearly marked for connection to the ground.
